About four years ago Susan's husband gave her a digital
camera. She discovered birds in a big way that year. It was on
a visit to Florida to see her mother that her creative passion
for birds blossomed. She never really noticed birds much until
two Sandhill Cranes visited her mother's backyard each
morning and danced their courtship dance only a few feet
away from her. Susan ran to get her new camera and hasn't
stopped since.
Susan loves the creative challenge of transforming images of
birds into art that she and other s might enjoy. She edits and
prints most all of her own photographs utilizing archival quality
inks and paper.
A Lisenced Clinical Social Worker, Susan has a private
practice in Bandon, Oregon. She enjoys integrating the
concepts of creative passion and" being present" into both
her counseling and her photography. Her office is on the
edge of the bay overlooking the ocean and the Bandon
Lighthouse. Susan says "I can keep track of the birds that
way and be constantly inspired and in awe."
